Strata plans were prepared from 1967 until the introduction of the Subdivision Act in 1988 and commence with the prefix RP (Registered Plan) or SP (Strata Plan).
Strata plans can be confusing and difficult to interpret because they show buildings with thin lines or hatched lines and the unit number is often contained within these lines.
All strata plans contain common property and the only way to amend boundaries on a strata plan is under Section 32 of the Subdivision Act.
